The FLATFIX® Compact Rail Fastening offers an innovative and space-saving solution for the secure and efficient fastening of rails to sleepers. This system is specifically designed for situations with limited space or an increased risk of short-circuiting, and is compatible with various sleeper types such as NS90, B70, B90, and W-mounting. With easy installation using a Torx screw and certification by Dekra Rail according to the strictest EU standards, FlatFix is the perfect choice for specialized rail constructions where reliability and safety are paramount.
Problem
In rail systems, there are situations where there is insufficient space for conventional rail clamps or where there is a risk of short-circuiting the train protection system. FlatFix offers a solution that can be applied in cases such as insulated rail joints, expansion devices, or shunting yards with pressure systems.
Application
The compact FlatFix fastening is compatible with NS90/B70/B90 and all other sleepers suitable for W-mounting. The flat clamp plate is secured with a countersunk Torx screw, ensuring that tools are not obstructed during the assembly or disassembly of the clamp. FlatFix has been installed on more than 20 kilometers of track.
Certification
FlatFix has been tested and certified by Dekra Rail and complies with international standards for rail fastenings.
